Press conference of the UNICOM project

On October 31, 2023, National Pirogov Memorial Medical University hosted a unique event - the presentation of an international project, the consortium of which included our institution. The modern formulation of the university's mission is based on the triad: teaching – research - public service. The goal of the UNICOM project is to determine the priorities of the third role of universities, to increase their social function by strengthening the interaction between universities and the community.

The press conference and the reports were held by VNMU employees - members of the project's working group. Professor of University of Genoa Diana Spulber, coordinator of the UNICOM project, joined the meeting remotely. Representatives of authorities, public organizations, educational institutions of the city, mass media responded to the invitation and also took an active part in the event.
